Year 1 Maths Games (age 5-6)

The activities in these categories carefully guide your children through four stages of calculating mentally:

  1. Counting objects to complete the task. Many of the early activities have corresponding images for your children to use to count on or back.
  2. Using a number line or number track, often starting on a particular number on the line rather than zero.
  3. Knowing and recalling simple number facts.
  4. Applying knowledge of simple number facts to answer further questions using larger numbers.
